Mumu post..that question should be directed to the North.. because the entire northern Nigeria should be shut down with protest since the beginning of the year because of the level of killings going on daily...how can idiot like you won't know the protest in Lagos is about how Nigeria state directly gun down his own citizens and no one was blame for it..how can you compare that to act of criminalities from criminal that kills people in SE.. stupid post 1 Like |

NGpatriot: SARS has been a long-term irritant, a well-defined enemy, and it took people posting on social media to organize and the protests. The killings in the East are relatively recent, without a well-defined enemy (e.g. who's definitely responsible for the killings, is it FGN, ESN, Ipob, ungun knownment, herdsmen, politicians?), so it's a bit harder to point at the enemy. With enough time and publicity (by people in the East, mind you), it too will galvanize protests. Lagosians (as in all Nigerians living in Lagos), are protesting the killings in Lagos (e.g. Lekki toll gate). I don't see people in Enugu protesting about what happened in Lagos. What about killings in Kaduna? Did Awka people come out and protest on their behalf? Let people living in the East protest about what's happening in the East. Let them organize and put plans on social media. It's not about lives mattering or not, because that's descending into dangerous rhetoric. 1 Like |

tsdarkside: You are absolutely right with the part in bold. I was surely one of those Nigerians who would have argued that the Igbo political and business leaders would be TOO SMART to have allowed this level of senseless violence and barbaric carnage and destruction of lives and properties to be perpetrated ON THEIR LAND, BY THEIR PEOPLE , AGAINST THEIR PEOPLE for so long, just like what is happening in the North! |

Simply because Igbo people support the killings. They believe that the only way to get Biafra is by killing any one against Biafra. |
