I Was Robbed, The Thieves Placed Palm Oil At My Door by Nomorelove: 5:52am On Oct 21, 2021 |
Hello, I was robbed today at my house and the thief or thieves placed a keg of palm oil at my doorstep. I woke up by 1 am or thereabout and saw my door open and to my surprise, I spotted the keg of oil too. At first I didn't take it serious because I felt it was my friend who kept it there although it made no sense at all. I then stood up to close my door. My friend said he came out of his room and was surprised to see the keg of oil but thought I was the one who kept it there. Not long after, he opened my door to tell me we have been robbed. They took our TV which is brand new. It's really heartbreaking but also surprising. The thief of theives gained access through the back door which was locked properly. How they got in through there remains a mystery to me. After digesting the whole thing, we stepped out of the house to discover that they came prepared because the barb wire on the fence was cut meaning they brought a tool to do that. My question now is that the keg of oil placed at my door was it some sort of juju to make us unaware of what was happening? Because we didn't hear a single thing throughout. Let me add that they didn't take any other thing aside the TV which means they came for just the Television. I believe it must be someone that came into the house not too long to fix some things there. Please I want to know if that's some sort of juju or if someone has had a similar experience. PS: For those asking, the keg of palm oil was taken from my kitchen store. It is mine. Funny thing is they didn't carry away any other thing because they are so many things for them to take. 18 Likes 3 Shares |

![]() They left the keg of palm oil so you and your friend can use it to eat yam and have enough energy to cry for the stolen TV. But if there is no physical trace of how they gained entrance, common sense should tell you that it is either you or your friend stealing from yourselves and capitalizing on your love for superstition to outsmart the other. 402 Likes 29 Shares |

Your suspicion is right. Inviting an handyman living in your area to fix things in your home is now a problem, the terrain is known to them,so most return at the dead of the night to break in 8 Likes 1 Share |

I dont think they are thieves. Despite the hardship caused by buhari, I dont think any right thinking thieves would forgo a whole keg of palm-oil for only TV. Start calling your distant relatives in the village if anyone of them sent palm-oil through anyone, then start your investigation from there. Sorry for your loss 11 Likes 2 Shares |

They stole from you and still left a keg of oil other people are looking for?, my brother use the oil it's a sign of appreciation and to console you for the tv, just like a by force trade by barter. 1 Like |

Having a fenced compound with barbwire ain't safe anymore, the barbwire could be loosened with pliers or similar tools or they could place bundles of protective clothing on top of it and scale your fence. To buy dog no be small matter, wetin you wan d feed carnivorous dog if you no get money ? They prefer midnight cos you will be prolly dead asleep especially 1-4 a.m. when the night is dead cold. So to be safe; *Get a dog if you can afford to feed *Your bed should be very far off the window, sometimes they enter and find nothing to steal, they resort to opening the windows and your phone or laptop might just be laying carelessly after the day's work on the bed or whatever that's close to he window. *Turn off all inner light when you want to sleep, atleast you have a better view than someone outside. *Get a shotgun or sharp cutlass ( when u sense foul, don't raise alarm yet, carefully play along and set a snare, don't fail to leave a deep laying cut in your first victims forehead. *You can opt for local alarm (tie strings or chords with materials that jingle, make enough and tie around all the doors from the inside, these guys can screw open your door if you lock with keys( not possible for bolts), also tie around your windows from the inside, or you leave a small object in-between the window layers, so as when on tries to open it, it resists and alerts you. *All valuables in the compound should b chained together, like Generator sets, AC(protective case ) Few I have to say 62 Likes 1 Share |

In my own observation.the thief is a nice thief.he wasn't thieving he did trade by batter.he saw u needed palm oil, while him needed tv set.so he exchanged the tv set with palm oil.in dis buhari regime if u price that keg of palm oil.u will see that the price of that tv set is so much close to the price of the palm oil 3 Likes 1 Share |

Op A keg of palm oil now sells at about 24k. Rush to the police station and table a statement. The thief or thieves may have forgotten what they stole from another neighbor in your place |

Be careful of the kinda handyman you call to come fix things in your crib as they might be involved in dirty deals and activities. Try to get like three to four dogs if you can afford them and install cctv in your compound while at the same time you should install electric wire not barbed wire on your compound fence Last but not the least: Get a sharp Machete because anything can happen at any fvcking time 2 Likes |

I see him investing in man of God for protection.
