Does he have above 51% shares voting power? How did you arrive at the conclusion that he can and he wants to take over FBN? This article sef!!! Nigerian journalism and mediocrity are like 5 & 6.

Young man you are looking at from ECO 101 perspective. For an establishment as huge as First Bank where there are thousands of shareholders, someone with as little as 25% can be the highest shareholder which puts him in the position of the controlling shareholder. Provided no other individual or group owns as much shares as he does in that particular organisation. Economic experts in the house kindly confirm

if Naira remains low and continue to lose value against the dollar, expect more of this.

You don't explain details to some people cos the more you explain the more they get confuse. Tell him that you can have 10% shareholding interest in an organisation and that makes you the largest shareholders.....I am a shareholder in first bank of Nigeria but my shares is so insignificant that you hardly see or notice me.....one day when I hit billionaire level.....maybe I might consider buying more shares and move up the ladder of shareholders.....

I know the complexities and strategies behind corporate takeover is too complex for your tiny brain to comprehend.

Don't reply him after the explanation you did. Such people don't take corrections. People who want to learn will understand your post and move on. Allow cretins to be cretins.

But the article didn't state the percentage Otedola possess. So Mavor's point still holds - until there's a percentage stated that Otedola owns compared to other major shareholders, he cannot be said to be the biggest shareholder.

After he sold Forte Oil everyone taught it was over for him now see his comeback grin FEAR REAL BUSINESS MAN, THEY ALWAYS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING
Oh! Spare us the lecture, he already knew through his Bossom friend that once the Dangote refinery is completed, FG will ban the importation of refined products and petrochemicals and it's game up for Forte oil.
Forte oil primary business is importation of refined products, chop subsidy money and sell to Nigerians.
