Am a christian, but I want to talk about this.

My neigbour's wife respects her pastor more than her husband, she will goto Some church functions without preparing food for him. If they have issues she will call her pastor and starting telling the pastor that her husband is against her going to worship God.

In Nigeria, some people will vote some one simply because he/she professes the same Religion.

Africans problem are Religion,Tribalism.
We will start progressing when we put common sense first before religion.

Religion isn’t Africa’s problem.
Religion isn’t Nigeria’s problem.
Tribalism like you pointed out is one of the problems, but tribalism has nothing to do with the issue you are reporting here.

The woman doesn’t understand the Bible well. Perhaps the husband too doesn’t understand the Bible well too. What the woman is doing is not what the Bible taught her. Rather she learnt the wrong thing from someone and is also doing the wrong thing.

It does appear from your post that her deference is more to the pastor than even what the Bible says. So let the husband practically point out the truth of the scriptures to her and counter her wrong acts.

This is also assuming everything you said here is true.
