There’s not enough electricity for the country to run far from it, the cities are far too small and there’s not enough apartments, the railroads are too slow and the use of land is inefficient. There’s too many slums when this country needs affordable housing and instead they blow the budget on luxury apartments and commercial zones while the factories pollute the already scarce water supplies. Theyre spending, spending alot more than they used to especially with the September infrastructure fund and the recent doubling of expenditures on infrastructure in general and with it Nigeria’s revenue has skyrocketed but it just isn’t enough

Though am not trying to absolve the GMB lead Govt.

If past Government have rehabilitated the roads or built the rail lines, or build housing etc this present administration would have less infrastructure to spend money on.

No matter how we wan look am, PDP really messed up. Most of the projects GMB is focusing on now should have been started and finish by the PDP Government between 1999 and 20015.

Make I just list few important roads in the South West wey PDP should have fix during the 16 years they were in power;Lagos-ibadan expressway, Shagamu-Ikorodu expressway, Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, Oshodi- Apapa expressway etc. There are still lots of other roads the PDP totally ambandoned all over Nigeria o.

Imagine if GMB do not have to focus on this projects have listed. In terms of Infrastructure, GMB have done more than the whole 16 years PDP spent in power.

Give the mayors time man, we’ve only had a democratic government for 22 years after decades of dictatorship and war, admittedly there still adapting and improving as leaders as time passes. At least that new infrastructure fund is focusing on road rail and electricity as all those slums and villages cost the government a lot since they have no access to electricity and need to somehow be maintained without power
