Gandhi did not use sit-at-home protest. The salt march was a civil disobedience against salt tax laws and the monopoly of the British empire.

He encouraged Indians to manufacture their own salts during the March across costal states.
Gandhi emphasized on nonviolence.

Therefore it is an insult to Gandhi by comparing his salt march to sit-at-home.

Gandhi's move gave Indians relief as they boycotted salt tax and produced their own salts. While sit-at-home in southeast is a cancer to business, education, health and social activities of Igbo people.

During the salt March did army kill them or ask them to roll inside mud ?

Did the British government sponsor thugs to disrupt their protest ?

Even in the peak of it's evil the British empire didn't commit the evil this buhari government have committed

That may be the strategy that worked then. It's not a one strategy that that fits all.

The difference is in the post but lack of comprehension is the reason you can't see it.

I will give it another shot to educate you. Though it won't get assimilated into you.

Tax disobedience was not just about tax disobedience. Gandhi encouraged Indians to produce their own salt. So it added to the pulse of the Indians as they produced their own salts and didn't pay tax.

Sit-at-home by Nnamdi Kanu adds no economic benefit to the Igbo people Nnamdi Kanu claims he's fighting for. You even threaten people to obey the sit-at-home but cowardly went into hiding when Buhari disobeyed the sit-at-home by visiting Imo state.

Sit-at-home is self imposed suicide.

Mr well informed!! So sitting at home will give you referendum? You shut down business activities of your fellow Igbos and you think it will affect Buhari.

Gandhi may not be wiser , the difference is in their objectives.

Gandhi wanted to free and uplift his people.

Kanu wants to to oppress and destroy his own people on orders of his globalist employers.

One thing I noticed about Nigerians is that most are dumb. It's like they get dumber as they claim that they are educated.

Look at this ignoramus comparing a Black to the most racist anti-black human being to have ever lived called Gandhi.

Mr Jmoore did you ask yourself why Ghanaians that are slightly more reasonable than a typical Nigerian pulled down his statue?

https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/14/africa/gandhi-statue-ghana-intl/index.html

Look at this shots below and ask yourself if Gandhi is even qualified to be compared to Buhari talkless of Nnamdi Kanu

Gandhi was the loudest voice of Apartheid. A man so wicked against blacks that he urged Indians to volunteer to kill off Durban (black) Market women after they revolted.
The man is everything anti black.
You Nigerians disgust me with your ignorance.
Was it not few weeks ago that one idiot was comparing Nnamdi Kanu to Nelson Mandela and was saying that Nnamdi Kanu should learn from Mandela and stop being violent. The same Mandela that used Bombs and assorted Machine Guns in his rebel outfit (spear of the Nation)

Imagine a black man comparing someone to Gandhi of all people. The anti black Gandhi that boldly call blacks "Kaffirs" which is even worse than "Niggers"?

Nnamdi Kanu's case can ignite Nigeria if not treated wisely by the government. Dividing Nigeria is not a solution to any problem right now. With the proliferation of civil wars and global suffering, it's a surprise that some people are doing all they can to push Nigeria over the cliff.
Breaking away hardly comes without serious bloodshed, especially in today's world. Look at Syria, Somalia, Libya, Yemen, etc. These crisis started like childplay, but have displaced millions and killed millions. Those who started it would have thought twice if they could foresee this outcome (unless for those who deliberately wanted it so). I pray Nigeria shouldn't be next. Because one thing is sure, the FG of Nigeria won't tolerate any kind of breakaway attempt. The government will put up a fight and only God knows where it would end.

In the meantime ...
Would you like to master online importation for cheap? Is the cost of online shipping ravaging your profits or preventing you from buying something? Would you like to raise a small capital without investing money? what about obtaining dollars in Nigeria at cheaper rates?
Then read this post. It's a long one, but totally worth it for those who need the knowledge.

Nnamdi Kanu also mentioned Gandhi on radio Biafra.
