The issue of removing thermostats in cars used in Nigeria or not has been a thing of serious debate. However, most "kazeem" mechanics have resorted to removing them for one reason or the other.

What is even a thermostat to start with?

A thermostat is an electrical component of a car that sees the coolant or, let's say, water flow from the engine to the radiator through a process. If the thermostat in any vehicle is in good condition and other conditions are also met, the car will work fine and won't over.

Knowing that said above, do you advise or recommend a thermostat to be removed from any vehicle?
