Stop there. I pay tax and in good amounts. Every Nigerian pays tax. Airtime, food at restaurants, basically everything we use and consume are appropriately taxed so, we have the right to demand good governance. You have some flimsy points but beyond the masses, the government is the greatest problem. They can, with good policies and implementation, make some good out of the citizens as it is in every developed nation. Human beings naturally have the tendency to be mischievous, it takes good governance to make them responsible. For instance, people always have the tendency to disobey the traffic light, but when you know that there's a high probability that you will get caught and you can't bribe your way out, you'll be calm and eventually get used to it.

My friend, that enaira stuff is an attempt by the FG to score cheap approval despite a failed and bloody administration.
It's the least of challenges facing the country at the moment.
PMB's administration, linked with terrorism and insurgency, is so soaked with the blood of Nigerians, that every scheme the FG decides to come up with to make the people ignore the question tags attached to its administration is DOA.

You can see from all indications that enaira was launched in a haste without due diligence. Just to score political points. PMB knows most Nigerians are gullible. He was never interested in boosting the economy in the first place but to actualize some ill religious interests at the expense of the nation's unity.

Enaira now, is more like a good gift from a villain. PMB is the wrong person to give it. Sound Nigerians will reject this gift because of the giver and probably welcome it from a different administration who'll represent the voice and prosperity of the people as a whole.

The incompetence of this administration borne from nepotism keeps permeating every sphere of governance.
It's a shame that the incompetence has reached CBN too. The VP gave an advice to the CBN when the outcry on the banning of crypto became too much to create a digital currency to rival bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The CBN unfortunately interpreted it to mean to launch a digital wallet. Nigeria has many digital wallets competing for attention. From banks to fintech companies, they have all launched one digital wallet or the other which the CBN itself supervises. With this move, the CBN has become the regulator and also a player in the industry. What a conflict!!
All the CBN should have done is find out what a cryptocurrency is and what exactly it does. If they did, they will find out the reason China and other countries have been wary of launching a crypto is the conflict it will have with whatever legal tender they currently operate.
The CBN unfortunately thought they have brought the naira to the internet but unknown to them, the naira has already been on the net. It trades on forex platforms against other currencies. So what exactly will enaira do?
This administration keeps disgracing us. I can't wait to see its end.
