Military Denies Negotiating With Gunmen Over Planned Attack On Plateau Community by Samuelriano1(m): 4:09am On Oct 30, 2021

The military has denied allegations that troops of Operation Safe Haven negotiated with gunmen to avert attack from attacking a village in Basa, Plateau State. The military also refuted claims that the gunmen asked the troops to vacate the area ahead of the planned attack. A statement on Friday by the Military Information Officer, Major Ishaku Takwa, indicated that troops did not negotiate with criminal elements.

The statement was titled, ‘Re: Gunmen ask troops to vacate Plateau community ahead of planned attack. It read, “ Operation Safe Haven has noted an online report in circulation on social media alleged that gunmen asked troops deployed in an unspecified village in Bassa to vacate the community ahead of planned attacks.“It was also alleged that the troops went on to negotiate with the gunmen to avert attacks on the said village. “While OPSH would not want to join issues with this merchant of falsehood, it is however instructive to state that the report is unsubstantiated, laced with falsehood and fictitious imagination of the author.”

I don't need any other way to know that this is a lie

Once military, DSS army, FG denies anything just know that it is true and they are trying to cover it up

Don't even bother consulting a prophet

It has become a trend under this regime

But it's not bad for the military to negotiate with the gunmen in order to avert any attack.

Hahaha, once there's a denial, it is a reality, that it's what they did.

EFCC denied going to Mary Odili house but cctv captured them.
Airforce denied killing civilians but were caught red handed and they shamefully agreed.

Same Airforce killed a man on brt Lane, but denied rather decided to give the man's family #500k, when have they turned to burial sponsors?

Theres serious competition amongst the military to take over from the business of Lai Mohammed. The hussle for the top LIAR is in earnest gear!

Who will win the race

No one is a fool here, we know better. The present-day government has a hidden agenda. Before, I used to believe that all these little jihadists can't do anything to Nigeria, but with what played out in Afghanistan and what is currently playing out here in Naija and the full backing government is giving these jihadists, those guys will successfully carry out their agenda without itch. They've tried the military and saw how weak they are in defending Nigeria. Except God himself takes charge, anything can happen.

I like the algorithm the current government is implementing.

Say the truth, wait for backlash and issue a denial.

In the end, everyone is confused as hell thus absolving them of any liabilities.
