In far away Abuja, the politicians never render account to the electorate.
New countries emerging from Nigeria can be better.

The useless government is to blame but you can't also remove the stupid residents that block the drainages with dirt and waste. Change starts with individual responsibility.

They will soon grow up to realize to serve Nigeria was never by force.

Na the people wey no serve Nigeria na im Nigeria dey serve.

It shall never be well with all fingers that wrote the faulty Nigerian constitution that allows you to collect tax on alcohol you forbid to trade and destroy and it shall never be well with every southern leaders singing one Nigeria because they benefit from the rotten system of governance.

Do their own children attend such a school
The management of the school in question will be in trouble immediately they verify the school and will pay for releasing such a photograph online and will be tagged sponsored by political enemies aiming to destroy their administration as if they care to improve schooling at all.

Shiiiiiiooooor.

Anyone with a iota of sense knows that Nigeria is not a country, but a geographical expression of colonial cash machine. A functioning country won't degenerate to this level. Never.

The leadership of the school are damned stupid.Myst there be a morning assembly knowing the condition?Back then even without flood, once it rains in the morning, automatically there is nit going to be an assembly on that day. Why exposed the children to water borne diseases? The call is for the head of the school to make nit the Governor or Buhari.

Nice one.... Majority of comments before yours is just gibberish, na people wey dey allow them call us lazy youths. Simple understanding of our education policy, they don't even know. Also, That is definitely not a government school and if not for probably a fake story, why would a sane principal conduct an assembly in a flooded place and then take pictures??.
iLoveYouToo:

First you gotta understand where Education is (exclusive or concurrent list), next you gotta find out what the priority of the leadership of the state where this school is situated. We need to stop giving politicians umbrellas to hide under. Every governor should be held responsible for their failures, not political parties.
Wike is in the PDP, yet Ortom that’s in same PDP can be seen as a failure, likewise in APC states. A governor/president that wants to perform well would do so regardless of his political party

Why? Just why do they have to stand in the flood? Some things are totally unneccessary. My heart goes out to this children. Would heaven fall if they did not sing the national anthem that day? What's the point of the stupid "school assembly/gathering" they do at public schools everyday, with students standing under scorching sun or inhumane conditions? What benefit do they derive from this? They can sing in their classrooms for chrissakes! Foolish leaders and school board! Exposing these children to germs, diseases, and all sort, in the middle of a freaking pandemic!!!
Really beats me undecided undecided

The only reason why they videoed this trash and posted it online is to make us insult the government but I must say this is an act of gross irresponsibility by the school authority. It is plain wicked to make these kids to stand in that stagnant filth to sing. It is mean! I hate them!

For a progressive country, you must treat women and children as humans.

Children first!

What is this for crying out loud?

And our politicians have girlfriends they dehydrate away millions, buy houses for and sponsor on foreign trips.

NEGATIVE

You need to threat the men as HUMAN.
Men build and produce.
The politicians give nothing for good men to build - so many good men go BAD

Children do not BUILD
Women do not BUILD
Men BUILD! Men First!

But first you need a government that produces.

Why endangering the health of this kids because you want to pass a message across?
This is unhygienic and subjecting the life’s of those children to danger. Am very sure, the school is not duly registered.
I keep saying what am very sure of, we are the real problem of Nigeria follow by the Government.
