Even if you don’t use French as your language of communication with IRCC, it is possible to use French as the language you want the highest point allocated to in your application.

Just pay attention when filling the form and you will see the question that asks exactly this.
I have actually seen it. After I posted here . I went back to my profile and saw it.

It's because you aren't following the steps religiously, you might not get it the first or second time and once you aren't pressing 0 at exactly 12pm Lagos time, you'll have to wait till the next day.

It give me more point than even getting 8777 in ielts self and making French my second language
Totally contrary to your username. You ought to know stuff around both languages wrt immigration to Canada. I would not even retake IELTS.

Great that they increased the number of invitations issued by 500 again. Keeping hope alive that we get ITAs this year.

Quite disappointed by the minute change. Just by 5 points but we still have till December.

Please does anyone know the average time for visa processing? Do people still get PPR in 6 months? Thank you.

Hello everyone, Please I need assistance with this.
I did diploma in law then gained direct entry admission into Law. Do I need to also evaluate my diploma in law with my bachelor in law degree with CES or just my bachelor in law degree would suffice. Thank you.

Am I allowed to create another EOI while I already have received ITA, and they are awaiting my application (response) to the ITA? My submission date is still left about 1 month.

Hi Guys, Please can one decline an ITA to correct your NOC and still use the same profile to await another ITA

I guess congratulations are in order for people that will get their ITA..

Please I need help here before creating a profile, tried to use the CRS tools but seems not giving me desired results.

I’m trying to determine who the PA should be, we both have same certificate, work in the same NOC.
- Husband Age 34, 7yrs Work experience
- Wife Age 29, 4yrs Work experience

Please advice as CRS tools only showing foreign work experience as 3yrs above as the highest.

Thank yy

It depends.
Same certificates? Then you should.
Any of you have any family member in Canada?
That is also a factor but if all things equal, the Wife should be the PA.
Age factor is on her side.

Please read Page 1 FAQ 27, you do NOT need to decline ITA to correct NOC, so long as:
1. You are not PNP
2. CRS does not change

If you do decide to decline, you will be placed back in the pool. It will expire a year after you first created it.

Go to page 1 post 2- it is dedicated to CRS, use the calculator and then the manual grid to cross check.

All things being equal, especially IELTS scores, the younger person will obviously have a higher CRS.

Good day everyone

Ielts has not been good to me.
I had written quite a number
I had LRWS 8,6.5,7,7 which is best so far
I speak French quite well and write , because my mum was trading in Benin republic all through my young age.
I gave TEF a shot and got a band 9

I am thininking of re writing ielts to get 8777 so I can have a good chance as English is my primary language.

Or has any Nigerian been able to successfully use TEF as primary language for this Canadian journey.
I just got to know this forum today when I was searching for this information and I have not seen any Nigerian use French as primary language

You've got so many robust responses already but let me just add: see page 1 FAQ 50 on this.

Enter the pool and if you have the funds please feel free to retake either IELTS or TEF or both to improve your CRS. Update whichever language has the most CLB 10s as your first language. Your CLB 9 (if band 9 means CLB 9) in French, though excellent, is leaving a total of 12 CRS points on the table. 3 each for each competence.

Hello IT expert living in Canada,

I may sound somehow but I sincerely don't have friends or someone in Canada to ask this question.

Please what is the average salary for Senior manager role in Toronto?

I checked glassdor and payscale but I would love to hear from ppl like you here based on your experience.

I am at the last stage of my PR application (every parameter passed but still waiting for RFV). So, I have started job hunting and luck for me as I do get some reply to most cv I've submitted.

Thanks

I have sent numerous detailed messages daily to the emails mentioned below but only automated response.
Although I did receive an email about 3 weeks ago acknowledging my webform that wasn't seen which led to a denial. But I'm yet to hear back from them since then. I don't want to take any chances with them as the 60days deadline is next week on the 25th.

You have come too far to let the rejection stand.

Please please please don't wait for a response to the webforms or emails as you have just 10 days to the deadline for JR.

Contact a lawyer like yesterday.

Wish you the best.

Best advise is to evaluate both diploma and degree. Otherwise, how do you prove to the evaluation body your 100 level courses? Law degree in Nigeria is 5 years and 4 years through Direct entry.

Apart from IQAS, is there any other evaluation institution that can assess my Bachelor of Law from Nnamdi Azikiwe University as a first professional degree for Canadian express entry? Thanks
