Exactly, that was why I mentioned it in my earlier response and also pasted a link to the next recruitment event coming up. Attendance to NB info sessions and recruitment events are key.
ok, I already applied for this event ooo, months ago, still waiting to to hear from them or even get mail for the session. Hoping ooo.

Hello my AOR was this May, want to know what the processing time is like right now.

JUANITAs30:

Hi JayF19,

What is your AOR date if you don’t mind me asking? And have you tried calling IRCC to check on the status of your application/raising a webform?

Alternatively you can create your application status tracker using this link: https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/

Hope it helps.

Thanks!!!

ExcellencyFSA:
Submitted ITA application in February, 2023.
Got PPR and submitted passport in April, 2023.
Status updated to application approved on IRCC website yesterday.
You may need to contact IRCC.

Congratulations. If applicable, was your spouse's resume/employment history requested at any point before the LOI?

Not at all.

Thanks, AOR is in May, 2023. Thanks.

mcstan18:

Most of the people I know that submitted even in October, got PPRs in January and February. You may want to order GCMS notes to see if there are any anomalies in your application.

Going by the current timeline trends, yours is aready taking too long.

Hello Guys,

Please, I have an interesting dilemma, I submitted my application with a passport that has validity till August, however, I applied and captured for a new passport last month.

IRCC just sent me a letter that I should send them a passport with six months validity within 30 days. If things go the way Nigerian immigration said it would my passport would be available just before the 30 days period elapses since Nigerian immigration said 6 weeks. But it would not be wise for me to risk it.

Is there a way to fast track my passport so I can collect it as soon as possible?

PS: I did my passport capturing at Ikoyi Lagos.

My first application to Saskatchewan after nomination I had a heavy amount transferred into my account few weeks before submission with LOE. They rejected it approximately 2 months after. Fortunately 2 weeks after I received another IV to apply from Saskatchewan and I waited 2 months before submission and since then they haven't gotten back to me,going to over 4 months now. So make of this what you think is right

You could go to the office of the PCO, they will let you through to his reception, no questions asked. Be patient as you may be told to wait or even told you don't need to see him, just be calm. He also usually walks around doing daily inspections between 9 and 10 (you'll see one oga that 2 or 3 people are following around). You can tag along and look to speak with him then. You will eventually see him, humbly explain you have completed all the passport renewal processes and even captured and were willing to wait till the date on your printout, but you need the passport urgently due to a visa submission...take your printed PPR email.

I am fairly certain (nothing is ever 100% sure so don't come for me) he will order for it to be produced within a week or 2. I think it may help if you are DIY/used Servicom but you could still try regardless....nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Disclaimer: I don't know him personally and have no NIS contacts but this would be my recommendation from my experience and the stories of others who used Servicom and had an urgent need.

What's the percentage of this to total POF. If you have assets to sell with documents, you can sell and add it to your POF immediately but wait until 30days about to elapse before printing your statement and submitting your application.

If you have any retirement savings account, have your PFA issue you a letter regarding access to 25% 4 months following being out of job.

Do all you can to submit your application. There are 2 outcomes, either an approval or a decline.

It's about financial capacity, let's assume your monthly salary is 500k and what you took out of POF is N1m, that's not much of a concern.

Check canadavisa.com forum. It's very India centric so I'm sure you'll find something useful there on process for getting India PCC when outside India.

Hello Everyone

Please i will like to know if having an uncle or aunt that is a citizen in Canada will add to an applicants CRS score. While I regularly hear that only siblings and direct family members can add points, I saw on the Canadian website and some forums that an Aunt or Uncle can also give additional points. I would appreciate some clarity on this.

Thanks

Aunt and uncle can only give you points towards eligibility which is 5 points ( to be eligible your points have to be 67 and above. With a good ielts, age, degree most people are able to cross the 67 points easily. But for crs scores zero points
