There are threads that abound with the tragic news of people who drowned in a body of water. In most cases, these deaths were avoidable. The best way to avoid incidents like drowning is to avoid large or deep bodies of water completely. Prevention is better than cure (in this case, death). However, I have uploaded images of basic swimming survival skill for those who cannot swim but find themselves surrounded by water or are there for the sake of curiosity or fun or learning purposes.
