It's a controlled demolition but many people are ignorant about it. A building with structural defects doesn't collapse like that. It looks like a controlled demolition attack JaskanFactor: |

Na so person go pay N2bn, tomorrow, the thing will fall down like wall of Jericho.. Na wah oh. Unless you are Dubai, you cannot be building high rise buildings in Nigeria. It costs so much to build high rise because of the materials and the technical expertise required. Not one Architect Lagbaja... |

donforeign:Guess what I realized from your lil drama, a lot of humans either lack basic comprehension skills or just choose to be unreasonable, I've always wondered why the Nigerian police seem to thrive in that aspect, tell them you are Mr A, a law abiding citizen. They reply with Oh! Mr Z, the criminal we've been looking for. Next time if you can't comprehend a simple sentence or statement, ask questions. Rather than give snide remarks, a lot of users on this forum do this and it's annoyingly nauseating. Do I expect you to understand? Maybe, maybe not. Stay off my mentions. |

JaskanFactor: Nigerians, you guys hate to admit that your corrupt corner cutting lifestyle has bad side effect which may sometimes affect you directly. If he the owner (who people have been bringing evidence of corner cutting) did not die there, is it you that should die there? Nigerians will do some crazy sharp moves and when it backfires they start looking for enemies and village people to blame. The house reached it limits and it crumbled. It happens that he was there when shit happened. Stop trying to make him the victim. If trully he was corner cutting to maximise profit, then the real victims are innocent people who are trapped under the rubble. (No, I am not reffering to the contractor who decided to overlook the risks and follow orders for money sake) |

Lokojatoofar: When you tear a dress, does it tear in straight line, when you break stick, does it break in straight line, in same way it is abnormal, suspicious for 21 story building to collapse perfectly all 21 floors neatly ontop of each other, unless you have some world professional possibly European experts do demolition work. structures dont fail in straight lines, unless they had help. Or perhaps if a plane flew into the building, That said God knows best. |

JaskanFactor: Sometimes dresses tear in a straight line and sticks break same way too. All it needs is a fault line at the right point and nature takes care of the rest. No be everything be enemy. |

Lokojatoofar: very funny , fault lines form in straight line, meaning there should be clouds up in the sky with straight edges too. Nature operates in mathematical fractals not straight lines. All 21 floors neatly pancaked ontop each other in perfect footprint does not look like the work of nature. In nature the building will fall on its side, front, etc. And since its looks like great care was taken to make sure each floor collapse neatly on the one below, might be someone with building nearby. Maybe they were blocking somebodies view with their 21 story abomination. |

JaskanFactor: Oh well, all I know is that sometimes freak accidents happen and all it takes is for that building to begin collapsing in a particular order and also based on its design for the whole thing to look like a pile of cards. The photo attatched happened in the USA. Note how it pilled up on that part too?
