If my friend was a successful criminal without being caught. Does that gives me the liberty to go into crime? If i get caught even at first attempt then so be it. What is not good isn't good no two ways about it.
Can you believe the number of people that are finding it hard to get this?
Then they started playing the tribe card; Isn't that the lowest of lows?

I quite respect your judgement, but this cubana is a hotel billionaire and not a politician

Just like Dangote is difficult to rope him in any financial fraud even if he is involved .
And this is unfortunate that many knew him because if his mother funeral.

What has EFCC done to the Abba Kyari and we'll know criminals in APC.
Hunting Innocent citizen for some interior motives is incompetence and maladministration.

I strongly believe he is innocent

The fraudster in bourdillion is still at large, ABBA kyari has been reinstated while Obi is paying for burying his mom lavishly.

One Nigeria indeed

This is bullshit.
If he doesn't come from a wealthy background, every sane mind must question where Obi Cubana made so much money from. No be the same Nigeria we dey so?
The problem with living in a society where a lot of people are into crime is that they give the impression that those who don't make money from fraud are either dull or lazy.
If his hands are clean, I don't know why anyone should be worried here because the innocent fears no accusations.

NIGERIAN WORKERS ARE ENSLAVED AT MABISCO

JOIN THE CAMPAIGN TO END SLAVERY

Mayor Biscuit Company Ltd (MABISCO) is a factory located at Agbara, Ogun State where Nigerian workers are enslaved. This company is owned by Mr Felix Eiremiokhae. He is also the owner of Oracle Experience, an advertising company that services some multi-national companies like Nestle.

According to documents checked, interaction with workers and the management, it is clear that Mayor Biscuit Company Ltd is a slave camp where the following anti-labour practices and crimes are flagrantly committed:

1. Management pays poverty wage to overwhelmingly most of the workers. Casual workers who constitute 80 per cent of the workforce are paid N1000 daily while the regularized staff earn N35,000 monthly. These factory workers are made to overwork from Monday to Saturday (7 am to 6 pm) and they are often shortchanged of their overtime allowances. The working condition is miserably poor as workers are denied severance entitlement and other benefits.

2. Management recklessly violates Pension Reform Act and consequently deny workers their right to pension. So brazen is the level of violation such that the management deducts workers contribution (8%) and pockets it instead of remitting to the Pension Fund Administrator (PFA). The management also do not contribute its own share of the pension which is 10%. This constitutes gross violation of Pension Reform Act.

3. The management deducts tax from workers salary and do not remit to the tax authority and government.

4. The management subjects workers to intimidation, harassment and arbitrary sacks and do not pay their earned entitlements. For instance, Musa Ibrahim has been placed on indefinite suspension since May 2019 for requesting for his overtime entitlements to be paid, he has not been sacked and his entitlement is yet to be paid.

5. There are no adequate protective work tools including hygiene.

In view of the fact that the leadership of the National Union of Food, Beverages and Tobacco Employees (NUFBTE) has not only abandoned workers in MABISCO and the entire industry, but it has also betrayed Nigerian workers, we hereby appeal to the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) IN Ogun State and National to intervene.

We also appeal to workers, activists, socialists and the general public to join the campaign to expose the slavery condition in MABISCO and put pressure on Mr Felix Eiremiokhae to end all anti-labour practices in the company including paying all earned entitlements and pension denied to former and current workers.

Please call and send protest messages to MABISCO CEO (08171229888) calling on him to end anti-labour policies and also share on social media.

STRUGGLE CONTINUES, VICTORY IS CERTAIN!

So because someone's father isn't very rich, then the person should languish in abject poverty?
what are you even saying?

Obi Cubana made money as a govt contractor before diversifying into Entertainment and hospitality industry.

EFCC Chasing after Obi Cubanna is a ruse. It is the cabal's frantic effort to sacrifice him in order to save their homeboy, Abba Kyari's head by quickly creating a file for a non-existent Covert/Sting operation from the highest possible administrative level. Cubana's arrest, questioning and harassment, in the name of Kyari's totally non-existent top secret investigation, is meant to deceive gullible Nigerians by throwing around the TOP SECRET slogan all over the place; a trick meant to cover-up his tailoring prowess. Hushpuppi would have been the bait but since some proceeds of his criminality have been traced to his pocket, what better option than to go for another of his socialite friends in desperation.

I have a question. What is the tax implication of receiving money in the form of gift? For instance, if Obi Cubana received #100M as gift during the mother’s burial, is he obligated to pay tax on that amount?
