Ponzi schemes and any ‘investment’ that you don’t seem to understand how they make profit out of it

Don't eat at all...100% money saved!

When you are about to give up the ghost...

Eat a little to keep body and soul together.. just enough to bring you to life...

Repeat the process...
You'll be Richer than Abacha

I would rather save up all through the year and splurge.

One needs to mentally, socially and emotionally relax during holidays to recharge for the next year's grind.

If you don't earn so much, biko save from January to December so you can relassss on your level.

Even God rested on the 7th day.

Everyone needs periodic breaks to refresh.

permit me to respond.
Examples.
1. Avoid sudden investment that are not planned and are third party related eg MMM
2. Consider Family dependency in your budget and try not to be a Saviour.
3. When you attend social functions, never go with more cash than what you have budgeted
etc

Well said, I remembered contemplating on getting the Freepods 3 with a budget of 16,000 Naira, the price on Jumia was pricey, but most definitely worth it, until someone referred me to the oriamo official store via the link on my signature

If you dont spend, how do you expect others to earn?... the one you earned, dont you think someone gave that to you?...

The countries that paid covid allowances is really not stupid, monies need to keep rotating otherwise it's only a matter of time before crime, insecurity and all other vices turn norm, just like now in Nigeria.

Nigeria is in dire need of a credit and mortgage system, all advanced nations passed through this and the only way out is a credit system.

That way, people with good and services are not rendered jobless, rather with the number of off takers, they can produce more and employ more(you and myself) while they recoup their monies over a period of time. aswell as curb inflation due to more manufacturers and elimination of middlemen whom would turn franchise for manufacturing coys.

Finally someone that thinks like me, we definitely need a credit system in this country

As the festive season approaches, one of the most experienced challenges with personal finances is excessive spending. To attain financial freedom, you need to find the balance between your earning, spending, savings, and investment routine. A journey towards financial freedom requires being consistent with managing your finances effectively. This article focuses on five basic steps you can take to carefully cut down on excessive spending.

Avoid Impulse Spending
Impulse spending is a spending habit that can leave you poor. It is simply an unplanned purchase that is not in your budget. It can be as minute as re-subscribing your monthly data plan to buying a new gadget. When overspending happens frequently, your finances can suffer but when you consciously stick to your budget, you’ll most likely have more money to save and invest in the long run.

Stick to Your Budget
The essence of having a budget is to spend on the most prioritized needs. When you spend outside of your budget, you are gradually robbing yourself of other necessities. Create a plan for your spending that you can actually stick to so you can take control of your money. To stick to your budget is to simply tell your money where to go at any given time.

Stop Using Your Credit Card
A credit card allows you to buy things you did not prepare the liquid cash for at the moment. Having your credit card with you often can lead to overspending. Credit works well when balances are paid off each month, but it can be disastrous when poorly managed. The best practice for avoiding credit card fees and interest is to not spend money until you save enough to cover the purchase.

Automate Periodic Investments
The best way to build your wealth and avoid excessive spending is with automation. It helps you manage your spending habits by ensuring you're contributing towards your goals first before spending. Learning how to automate savings may even help you achieve your financial goals faster.

Avoid Money Pits
When you’re trying to become financially stable, you need to look out for money pits. These are the things that look like a good idea at the moment but eventually produce bigger expenses. Money pits can take away from your savings, or even worse, lead to debt. Focus on keeping your money in your own hands. Spend it how you want, save and invest it when you can, and try to lose as little as possible.

Final Thoughts
Learning how to stop spending money is hard, but it is possible. It takes time and dedication to stop overspending and to reform your spending habits. Recognize what prompts you to spend too much and put safeguards to curb it before it hurts your financial well-being.

All this is rubbish, not totally rubbish sha grin grin...what is money meant for?...You wan save then u must starve Abi,u wan save then u must eat like chicken and look unhealthy because u wan keep money for bank...you refused giving and assisting or showing love to those who asks because u wan save then when u need tomorrow, who will help u?,see,no one knows tomorrow...The little you earn, try enjoy from it,that's the purpose...life is short, the purpose is to live it,impact lives positively, leave a good legacy and fukk off...that money u are saving, when u die,one idiot will make a mess of your hard work if care isn't taken....my lil opinion though..
