Mr man, are you really a Nigerian or just an ethnic jingoist. Are Nigerians behaving like Indians, snatching ballot boxes, beating and locking election officials in the toilet?

How do you want INEC to conclude what is typically and glaringly inconclusive. Because of our past experience with PDP, people doesn't know that inconclusiveness had been existing with our election laws to checkmate electoral frauds. GOD ALMIGHTY will only bless Buhari and APC for not misbehaving like PDP in power during election.

During PDP especially OBJ era, the election one needs to win by aligning with the right godfather is primary election but secondary election is Federal power things except Lagos and Kano States.

Give it to Buhari for not intervening on states elections though he is a failure administratively on some other spheres.

Shut your mouth fool, has any government committed this much atrocity in Nigeria like APC?

It took INEC more than 24 hours to declare a state election inconclusive even after making noise about electronic transmission of results. I pity Nigeria, APC always have a way of rigging elections and that should not be allowed in Anambra state.

As big as India you know the next prime minister the same day after election, you are not asked to lock yourself indoors because of election, there was an election in SA last week, there were no police on every junction, we went about our usual daily activities like nothing was happening.

God will not forgive this APC FG, everyone predicted the outcome of the election and it turned out so, where is the INDEPENDENT in INEC?

Is this what we should expect in 2023?
I am sorry it wouldn't repeat itself again..I would make sure I handle the matter..

Wait oooooo. Since their is total of 148000 votes in ihiala.... Do u think a state that refuse voting apc all the while will now go n give out their whole vote to same APC in ihiala?? No matter how u want to do this, there is no room for what happened in imo state to happen in Anambra. Imo state own is that many of them were sell out out already n was even busy campaigning n bought many votes for APC. same shit wouldn't be easy to repeat in Anambra cos imo already welcomed the party in d state.

Was it not same electoral process that brought in rochas? Some things ain't too easy to be manipulated. Even if they wanna use court, it's still gonna end up in PDP court.

Imo state scenario ain't that easy to play in anambra.ets wait and see how the manipulation wanna work out.
You lots are so dumb. Instead of fighting your adversaries, you are busy dragging Imo State. What's wrong with you guys? Your vote is about to not count you are blabbing Imo people accepted bla bla bla undecided
You fail to realize the might of your adversaries. APC in all honesty should not be welcomed in any state, it's a cancer. I naa make noise Imo State while waiting for how it will work out sad

Buhari will be very foolish to play same game he played in Imo State to the people of Anambra.

IPOB cancelled the sit at home in order to foster peace so there can a credible election in Anambra State.

Any move to install unwanted Governor to the people of Anambra will bring violence, chaos and unrest to Nigeria as a country.

God bless Ndi Anambra
God bless Ndigbo.
Buhari did not play game in Imo election.

At the Election Tribunal and the Appeal Court, the lawyers for the PDP candidate glossed over the forged results submitted by the APC candidate; the PDP lawyers did not challenge the forged results at the Tribunal and Appeal Court.

The Supreme Court gave judgement in favor of the unchallenged results submitted by APC candidate.

It’s not that Imo people were dumb.

Let's be realistic here, you can not compare our elections with India or SA. Firstly, they do not have the kind of security challenges that we have. Secondly these countries are ahead of Nigeria technologically (whether we like it or not). Thirdly, they don't have aspirant who are as desperate as our politicians. How long did it take the US to collate results of their presidential election? That is what desperate politicians can cause.

Let's stop all these writing of comments for likes and be realistic.

For me...I think this is the best decision and was taken according to electoral act.

I blame the security agents...despite their heavy presence, electoral process was still disrupted by hoodlums to the point of cancellation of an entire LGA So, what exactly is the point of militarisation of the whole state

Anyways, Prof. Soludo will still win, even if he lose this last LGA.

It's better for the Electoral process to be whole completed, so that there will be no technical ground for this election to be thrown away by the court later on.

Congratulations Prof. soludo

I wonder what people think. INEC is doing the right thing so that no one will go to court and claim they would have won 140k votes from Ihiala.

Let's all calm down and try to understand the process
I was just reading comments and checking my head at the ignorance of people here who are supposedly "youths" until I came to your comment and was forced to come in and comment.
INEC is simply fulfilling the tenents of the electoral act that says that every LGA must be captured in the voting process. I don't think Ihiala election will be up to 5k at most 10k. This is Anambra where people don't vote on a normal.
Soludo has won this but INEC wants to do the right thing.

With the kind of comments I see here... Nigeria is in trouble. Na these kind youths wan lead in years to come?

An election is inconclusive if the number of those who are yet to vote is greater than the margin that a party has to lead in an election during collation. It is therefore possible. for a new winner to emerge at the end or the the winning party maintains its lead.Incoclusive pronouncement is in order and acceptable in the electoral acts and constitution.

The average turnout for the election was about 10%. Therefore, 10% of registered voters in ihiala which is about 12300 won't still be enough to overturn the result in favour of APC, unless of course they want to apply the Imo state abracadabra

smiley go and check kano rerun where apc did abracadaba and came from behind to win with over 90% turnout in a few wards

No INEC official will tell you..
..
The voters in Ihiala gathered together and beat the living stars out of the supervising official for trying to supply fake sheets for the election.....
..
The people declined.
And thus, no materials were distributed.
No Election Was Held

You mean this happened in all the polling units in the local government? This can be an isolated case in one or two polling units but a coordinated attack on INEC officials in all polling units within the local government is preposterous.

Mordecai:

The Anambra State gubernatorial election may have come to a conclusion with the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] collating the election results of each local government area [LGA]. Information available to 247ureports.com obtained from sources within the All Progressive Congress [APC] indicates the gubernatorial candidate of the APC, Senator Andy Uba may have engaged in electoral malpractices of which one of the senior associate to Senator Andy Uba and recent decampee from the All Progressive Grand Alliance [APGA] to the APC, Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezim formerly representing Idemmili North and South LGAs in the house of representatives – was arrested by the Nigerian security forces at his home on election day.

On the evening of election day, Hon Ifeanyi Ibezim – who is considered a strong political force in the Idemmili north and south LGAs was reported to have snatched and/or commandeered a significant number of ballot boxes along with associated sensitive electoral materials to his country home. All the materials from the polling booths meant for one of the communities – Abatete – was cornered and sent to the home of Hon Ifeanyi Ibezim. His home was turned into a private polling booth. Voting materials from other communities were also commandeered and redirected to him home.

At his home, a group assembled by the Honourable member began thumb printing the ballot papers in favour of the Andy Uba led APC. While the thumbing was going on, the law enforcement officers were tipped off of the activities unfolding at the resident of Ifeanyi Ibezim.

His home was immediately surrounded by a joint task force of law enforcement officers. The security forces surrounded the home without the knowledge of the honourable member who was engaged in the thumb printing. Within minutes, the security forces barged into the complex and arrested the lawmaker.

With the arrest of Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezim, the ballot boxes and election materials were recovered and handed over to INEC – who then took appropriate actions to cancel the fake votes. Abatete results were thus cancelled. No elections were recorded for Abatete.

Calls were placed to appropriate authorities on the arrest of the honourable member. Higher authorities beckoned on the security forces to ease up on the lawmaker and release him – to avoid raising unnecessary dust.

247ureports.com reached the State Chairman of the APC, Basil Ejidike for comments whether the APC had sanctioned the activities of the lawmaker. He did not respond. The head of the Andy Uba campaign, Paul Chukwuma also did not respond.
Wow!
That was swift
