Always take time to read and understand. She wasn't given a phone, she already knew the sign from tik tok and used it while the kidnapper was driving her. A motorist noticed it and alerted the authorities.

Read to comprehend ok. The girl in question was inside a car with the kidnapper and notified another motorist with the sign. The signal was introduced in TikTok, which is where TikTok came in. grin
