Holly Gram u no need carry anybody go court. if u like dat place and u 1 still get lite. find wer d landlord or agent house de and if u no get kala, try buy or borrow from pesin wey u knw.. carry d Kala jazz in ur landlord unit, no shoot d manchi oo, just point am d Kala 4 em blokos and tell am waiting u need am to do. I swear down. em no go ever 4got dat day, B4 u go even reach house em go make call to organize lite 4 ur huz. WTF MAN

You didn't go for "one on one" inspection before paying the rent or what

At this point just make alternative plans.
Find a way to fix the light,
Buy water from those meruwa.
Then discuss the problem with the landlord and give him time to fix it if not start making arrangements to pack out when the rent you have paid expires..
If you request to collect your money back, you won't get it in full. Agents have taken their share, landlord has settled Landlord Association and what you will get is stories of how you would be refunded when someone else rents the place...
