Why is it that old car models that have depreciated abroad come into Nigeria and appreciate...instead of depreciating the more?

For example, in 2006, Toyota Avalon 2006 model was sold for ₦10 in America, and sold for ₦11 in Nigeria. In 2021, it is sold for ₦2 in America and is sold for ₦8 in Nigeria. Why?
