Genetic Diseases, What Are They, Treatments by rishabh121: 12:15pm On Nov 15, 2021
We humans are always exposed to a multitude of diseases and this happens without anyone being to blame, of course some diseases arise from poor diet, low resistance, neglect of ourselves, but these are not always the causes of diseases, as some diseases are genetic and with genetics there is nothing to do, because it already follows the individual since he is being generated in his mother's womb, sometimes these diseases arise due to malformation, because the father's genetics do not match the from the mother, there are a multitude of problems that end up causing these genetic diseases and they must be treated carefully so that they do not become something more serious and bring even more problems.

Genetic diseases are embedded in a person's DNA, so there is no reversal, what exists are treatments to contain and balance the disease, preventing it from spreading.

For those who do not know genetic diseases, it is any alteration that affects the DNA material, no matter what the disease is, whether it is infectious, contagious, as it is a genetic problem and has to be treated, it cannot be ignored.

Genetic diseases are strictly divided into three separate groups, such as chromosomal, monogenic and multifactorial alterations. The monogenic alteration is based on a mutation that occurred in a DNA gene, which may be the alteration or absence of some protein.

Chromosome alteration, on the other hand, is based on an alteration in the entire chromosome and not just in a DNA gene, one of the best known chromosomal alteration diseases is Down Syndrome, which is the three-fold presentation of chromosome 21, and there are also the multifactorial ones, which are alterations with alterations in different genes.

These diseases unfortunately have no cure, only treatment, and must be identified as soon as possible, so if you notice anything strange, seek a doctor and perform all necessary tests.
