Paying your fair share is not woke nonsense. Before now the combining all of the poor people's wealth outweighed that of the richest folks. Today we have the reverse just 2% of the richest folks wealth outstrips the combined wealth of the poor. There is a deepening poverty, that is as a result of wealth being in the hands of a few. Now rich folks paying their fair share of taxes means that they should pay the same proportion the poor people pay. Poor people pay more on income than rich people do. That is the crux he isn't saying tax them harder he is saying they should pay a proportion that equals what the poor and middle income people pay.

It's triggering because the govt is a big fvckin cartel that gets paid for doing nothing. PIT Tax rate in America is already around 37% similar to that of Norway with better standards of living, do you want it at 70% . Pushing for higher taxes doesn't reduce the gap, it only drives rich people and investments to places of low tax, like panama and Cayman. And please don't bring up nigeria in convos like this.
