Congratulations. Maybe the fellow that liked your comment will be third.

Reminder: Non of Buhari's children schooled in Nigeria and he doesn't hide it so this is not a new thing even though it isn't what is expected from a leader

CLARION CALL TO PRESERVE THE YORUBA LANGUAGE
Few days ago, I was having a chat with a teenage boy whose parents are of the Yoruba origin residing in Nigeria, in-fact they reside in the South-Western part of Nigeria (which is actually the Yoruba speaking part of the country). However, it sounds worrisome ........................read more on https://alawiiyeyoruba.com/clarion-call-to-preserve-the-yoruba-language/

Imagine, you made your son school abroad to get "quality education" while he is coordinating the affairs of a state school here.

Does that means that he doesn't believes in his own lead institution?

They want life to be easy for their kids bt make life a living hell for other people’s kids here.

Nigerian universities thrive on oppression.

I do not see any reason to vilify the Professor. He became VC in 2019 and his son graduated from Oxford University in 2021. Except the son went for a Masters, it means he was already in Oxford before his father became VC at EKSU.

Furthermore, the son could have been on scholarship. We do not know enough of the story to say the man has done any wrong morally or otherwise.

Can you imagine, it will not end in abroad oo, he will come to Nigeria to occupy the place where us way pay school fees for Nigeria university suppose go work. What a Nonsenstical nonsense.

Nigeria is far from redemption

So he should use his money to fund the university, help use his money to build lecture halls.

The way some of u reason sometimes, no wonder many criticize blindly and on getting to power LL now discover how realistic and tidious it is, then Bleep up beyond expectation..

And when you attend their matriculation or convocation, he will be reading out speeches on how his administration is running a "world class" curricula that churns out globally competitive graduates. We're not ready for real change in Nigeria.

Stop making excuses for failure.

Before that, he was a dean and aspiring to be the VC in 2019. Why didn't he send his son to Ekiti State University to at least degree level then send him to Oxford for his Masters. How do you motivate your followers?

Leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act toward achieving a common goal.

Hmmm. Oxford University is not cheap at all. I wonder if this education can truly be afforded on the salary of an Ekiti State VC.

Hope you have money for business because no much work in Nigeria. Paying £40,000 a year for 3yrs in order to become a civil servant or earn N150,000 a month makes no sense

I studied in that school he is now presiding over, but it was not thesame when I travel abroad.

It's a shame for such news to trend in our society, this one is also celebrating mediocrity. The structure is so bad that it can only become more worse. There is nothing new you bring into this current structure that won't fail.

There is no country that as ever prospered without a great leader or a popular revolt, Nigeria problems are Nigerian's.

Your leaders never preached that their kids will go to the same school as yours. Barack Obama's daugher workin in a local restaurant is no big deal. Fashola's son was at Lagos Skill Acquisition center learning Carpentry while he was a governor. My daughter just finished secondary school and we have sent her to work as a clerk in a law firm pending Uni. I consider those as part of inculcating discipline and entrepreneural skills in children, making them responsible. Any other perspective or optics to it is useless. Malia Obama went to Harvard. Would you by any stretch require Obama to Send Malia to a University in Hawai or Kenya?

People should stop making ridiculous insinuations and creating vague expectations of leaders, creating figment of promises they never made and wanting to live their lives for them.

No sense made

You only went flowery

Insecurity is the reason why many of them send their children to school abroad. The present situation in country is so bad that we need God's intervention to see us through. We youths must also be ready to come together to take control of our destiny.
