Did we have a market glut when the government banned importation of certain food items and 'blocked' land borders? Have you thought of the consequences of the increasing attack and displacement of farmers in the North and middlebelt by terrorist herdsmen, ISWAP and BHT?

Nigeria should import food to augment the shortfall in supply due to inability of displaced farmers to meet up market demand. There is food scarcity. What is playing out is simple economics of demand and supply. Flood the market with food and see how prices go down.
