Onuebonyi park touts are madmen. I was once bitten while trying to effect arrest and my finger almost fell off too. I never wanted to complain to the authorities because I knew the job has always been “all man for himself “. Well, my superiors eventually went to the DPO’s office on my behalf.. “lo and behold” the suspect’s boss was already in the DPO’s office before them sharing jokes with ‘Oga’.

To cut the life story short. The suspect’s boss finally squeezed about 6pieces of N1000 notes into one of the hands of my superiors for my treatments, but the money never got to me. I was referred to a pharmacist with the instruction to tell him “they are coming to see him” (for payments) when they noticed I was seriously bleeding.

To date, whenever I go to get drugs at the pharmacy he still sees me as a debtor. I'm paid peanuts, I may have to save up for that.
