The company intends to begin selling parts and tools and providing instructions on how to repair Apple products at home, rather than bringing them to a store or a third-party repair shop. Starting with the iPhone 12 and 13 and then moving on to Macs with M1 chips, Apple has a plan. In the beginning, you’ll only be able to replace the iPhone’s display, battery, and camera with parts made by Apple.
