Allen Onyema will take over People's Gazette like Innoson wants to do to GTB. Don't try to defraud an Igbo man as it may backfire terribly.

Network providers store up phone conversations in their database for a period and it can be made available with a court injunction or on request by relevant agencies during investigations such as knowing missing persons last phone conversation
someone recorded it. I don't think Telecom coy have database for voice .except there is authorisation to record your voice from court

I don't know about our local laws. But in most places you would need consent to record a conversation for it to be admissible as evidence. Unless there's is legal approval to record without the other party's consent

In Nigeria evidence can be presented, without minding if they were gotten unethically or otherwise.

I knew this Ogundipe would run into trouble sooner than later. He’s been running faster than his shadows. A very crooked journalist who is available to do the dirty bidding of the opposition politicians. He’s definitely going down with this. So much for making a career out of blackmailing and publishing falsehood.

LOL

Look who is talking

There's nothing in the conversation that accuse Samuel of any crime. The whole conversation is geared toward the release of a girl from effcc cell.

the entire phone call reveals nothing interesting other than they are trying to bail some lady from EFCC

You are right. And the motive for recording and publishing it needs to be explained. Someone seems to be trying so hard to convince the public that Ogundipe is guilty and not being witch-hunted

However the general public also want to know what serious fraud allegations Ogundipe has against Onyema that would warrant him to ask for US$300k hush money!

Blackmail and extortion should ideally be handled by the Police and whoever has been arrested should be granted bail or charged to Court in the timeframe prescribed by the law.

When Ganduje was involved, nobody talked about the legality or otherwise of how the videos were recorded. It’s an anti government and pro-opposition journalist now and we suddenly care about the legality of how the conversation was recorded. Hypocrisy on steroid!
