On a serious note, not many of us were born in the hospital.

There are still a lot of Nigerians that give birth at home, so how do you expect them to carry out 'due diligence'?

They asked questions, by law it is a crime to provide false information. The only wrong they did is charging for what is supposed to be free.

After been born @ home....you will go to the hospital or PHC for immunisation and the rest, that's where the child will be registered.

That's how it is for most folks. The only immunization some people know about are those people walking about with bags on their arms in green shirt

The pictures of the civil servants' faces is totally unnecessary.

The problem is not fully the civil servants. The problem is the NPC system that is not yet digitalized.

If we continue to use paper for recording and record keeping.... This problem cannot be resolved.

why would a birth certificate be issued for a child that they haven't seen, and when would we digitize the process from the point of registration?
