Sadly, I am not surprised and no one should be, a country without data base or balance trade, how do you expect such nation to grow exponentially. Look, the structure the country is running is porous and extremely bad, it can only become more worse. However, when the foundation is bad don't expect a miracle. Come 2023 no one should expect a major transformation because anything new or creative that you bring into the system will fail and will continue failing. This incumbent administration and it's sisters in politics are all colossal failures, no true mandate to lead this country through a progressive path rather on a mission to make the citizens poor and make them live in abject poverty. Until, we look into re organisation or restructuring then we can become to see little light at the end of the tunnels but then I am not sure this leadership are ready or serious about nation building. Nigerian problems are Nigerian's and her solutions are right here in Nigeria. Know this and have peace |

Johnholmes: What do you mean? how will they be held accountable and also serve as a deterrent to others if their identity isn't revealed. |

jikins:In as much as I support the op on his write up ,I don't see the need of showing d faces and mentioning real names of the officials. We are all products of a failed system and people are just looking for a way to get by . Ure not a saint urself . Haven't you ever bribed a policeman or collected incorrect change or cheated in an exam ,amongst other things. If the system works ,people will behave. A country where criminals (rotten politicians) , mediocrity( like bbnaija ) etc are celebrated, what do you expect? So you can't blame a poor man or woman who cuts corners just to put food on the table. Take ur investigative journalism to aso rock and not d common man 1 Like |

Johnholmes: That right there is the problem of the country. Its people with these mentality that keeps the country the way it is. No one is a saint doesn't mean you shouldn't do the right thing. System failed you doesn't mean you be crooked. If you want a better country you have to start from the bottom up. Because it's those in the bottom that will eventually get to the top. Heck it's those in the bottom that keep those in the top where they are. It's no surprise most people with this mentality have no political will for change. It's why we don't get good candidates every year because we have all sold our souls for coin. |

shogsman: The physical fake ID that you're talking about is fake but the number on it is real and corresponds to the data printed on the fake ID. That is, if you run the number through the database, the details that will show up will correspond with the details written on the ID. What you are talking about is identity theft. They steal your DL number, your name, SSN, etc. Then use it to create a document that looks exactly like the original one. The important thing is not the ID document but the details printed on the ID document. Anyone can Photoshop a document. The birth certificate we're talking about here are being issued directly by the people that issue birth certificate. It's not fake. It's 100% real and acceptable anywhere on earth. 1 Like |
