Boko Haram Fighters Surrender Weapons at Gwoza as Troops fight ISWAP in Malam Fatori

More Boko Haram fighters have surrendered on Wednesday morning at Gwoza as Nigerian troops battle ISWAP terrorists in Malam Fatori this evening.

Despite ISWAP move to stop the move, Commanders of Boko Haram and their members have surrendered with their weapons to the troops in Gwoza axis.

A military intelligence operative told PRNigeria that more former Boko Haram members are expected to surrender before the end of the year.

“Some former Boko Haram Commanders and their members escaped from Jaje area of Sambisa forest and voluntarily surrendered to Operation Hadin Kai troops of 192 Battalion deployed at Gwoza-Limankara road in Borno State.

“Most of them were forcefully conscripted into the terror group against their will while they were very young.

“So far more than 17,000 members of Boko Haram have surrendered despite all efforts of ISWAP to stop the process,” the officer said.

Meanwhile, PRNigeria gathered that Nigerian Troops on Wednesday evening are battling ISWAP terrorists at Malam Fatori

Malam Fatori is one of the strongholds of the ISWAP Terrorists and allegedly hosts their Shura Council. It sits near the border with Niger Republic.

So now anybody can claim to be boko haram? Because I don't understand how boko haram would surrender and the next minute you hear they ransacked another village. Abi I don't understand this boko haram thing? The government should just accept that they want to pay another due to the owners of the land to maintain their position, just like the niger deltans does. Nigeria

I just laugh at this government lies.
17,000 people surrenders and there many more to surrenders as you claim and still call bokoharam degraded ,routed, stealing food, technically defeated etc all these years.

God has disgraced all of Nigeria's enemies, they shall continue to live disgrace and abject failure in their bid to destroy this country. Real men are confronting Nigeria's enemies one bullet at a time while garbage are always online saying garbage about their efforts.
