They could definitely benefit from more training, everyone can. However, the realities a Nigerian cop deals with have little in common with a Euro one. So the benefits of training with foreign forces are debatable.

It is not about training. Nigerian Police as at today has tons of modern kits and equipment for protest or hostile crowd control. And they sure have the knowledge.

Most Nigerians believe that Nigerians by nature are stubborn and only firm use of red eye and raw force will get them moving. It is about mentality. Give an average Nigerian uniform and small authority and watch his enforcement conduct. Even the degrading way common corporate security personnel treat crowd of job seekers especially when recruitment is on will tell you everything.
