Actually they are, that's why your god is mostly personal. Your god cannot tell you anything you don't already know or can't find out. Those who know God know that He'd not usually reveal or say things irrelevant for the fun of it, neither does He engage in gossip and tattling. If God has a message or sends you to someone or people, that's different. He could send specifically to bless or warn.
Like i explained, what you seek for is close to what is called the gift of the Word of knowledge(one of the gifts of the Spirit baptism). Fortunately or unfortunately for you, i don't have it. It's not a major requirement for being a Christian or a child of God. Nonetheless, there are people who have it. It hardly proves anything that you haven't met people who do. You can meet 2 million people and none of them is a pilot, or from Switzerland. It doesn't mean that pilots and Swiss people don't exist. It simply means you should increase your search intelligence and base seeing you're looking for them. i can't repair your broken phone or TV to save my life, but i have met people who can. You should tell him that this gift is very easy to be 'misplaced' or 'buried' (trying to look for a word that fits).

I met a brother who told me he had that gift but now gone due to sexual sin, drinking and mingling with people he shouldn't. The devil usually attack those who have that gifts sometimes through jealousy from others who operates in other gifts.

To an end, this things are truly hard especially when looking at it from the reality and physical perspective. Much more harder if you already subscribed to follow Christ (the fact that Jesus didn't hide this things made me believe).

Therefore, adequate knowledge of what's really going on between God and Satan, how God used/raised His prophets with time, old covenant (physical) and new covenant (spiritual) is required.
