If u stay back u make serious money..... Only lazy doctors travel out...
U think MONEY is everything.

IF I give you $10million now and ask you not to wake up tomorrow, will you accept the offer?
We really need to look beyond money at times.
Nigeria's situation has gotten beyond that.
Even the RICH are relocating their families.

Did you know that President GEJ's younger Brother died of Cardiac issues before he could be airlifted to Abuja enroute abroad?
This was when GEJ was still president.
Despite being in that position, they couldn't handle ordinary cardiac arrest a US police officer could manage till EMS arrives.

ALAMESEIYHIA, former Governor of Bayelsa state died in the UPTH of Port Harcourt.
Could you believe there was no single mechanical ventilator to monitor him all through before he died despite his wealth and money embezzled?

ABUBAKAR RIMI, former Governor of Old Kano State died in the ER of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital. One of the reasons was unavailability of ordinary OXYGEN.

OBADIAH MAI LAIFA of CBN just died, guess you heard his story too. Being a wealthy man in Nigeria is not a Guarantee too.

Even BUHARI is not left out. He's also tired of being a NIGERIAN too.
He travels 2weekly to see his Doctors because he doesn't have confidence in the Almighty ASO ROCK CLINIC

It beats my imagination how the FG sits by with reckless abandon and allow trained hands it trained or substantially subsidise their training to immediately graduate and head overseas to work there leaving their parents behind for others to care and attend to.

If you go overseas, you better take your family along, especially your parents. This is because nobody here will take you serious when you are overseas and start suggesting interventions when your parents get into health crisis. It happened recently with Dr Malaifa. Nigerian health care professionals who stay back mock them with "sebi it is us who can't go overseas to practice too and abandon our parents? ". Even if you are staying far from Nigeria because you are from a dysfunctional family system here at home, to avoid stories that touch, take your parents along or that Nigerian system you cheated will , sadly, consume them. I know few who come home only for funerals and it's sad listening to their accounts of how their parents die without reaping the benefits of having children who are healthcare professionals.

Those who stayed behind to develop and serve their fatherland could as well have left like you too. As we type here, Cuban health care professionals will hardly leave their country and considered one of the least paid in the world but for the love for their country and parents, they stay within their country and serve. Since all these years we have been "exporting " doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses etc overseas, we have never seen any of our 'exports' on Forbes list or rank high among wealthy Nigerians, making one to wonder if they are truly that successful financially overseas. I even see a few do better here than some overseas! So who is NMA fooling?

Honestly, I blame the FG for not putting measures in place to get value for taxpayers who they used their money to train the NMA members. It's completely unacceptable.
All the enemies of Nigeria will lose las las, they always lose. God bless Nigeria forever.

Tell your government to create a suitable working environment for them and pay them well and as at when due

That you don't see their name on Forbes list doesn't mean they're not doing well financially abroad. The US PRESIDENT earns about $400,000 a year but still not on Forbes list, and a lot of specialist doctors earn around that same figure per year over there

Nigerian doctors do very well abroad due to the enabling working environment, and if Nigerian government wants to stop the brain drain, they should step up and take good care of it's health workers

That a doctor doesn't take his parents abroad while relocating shouldn't be your problem, let the worry about that, not you

one naija doctor failed a medical exam in South Africa so he decided to go back to what he was doing in naija. He's practicing and making money in Nigeria. wonder how many people he's killed with his quackness. only quack doctors are in Nigeria.

Before you blame the Doctors remember that it is up to the Government to take care of their demands. Since the Government chose to ignore them; I don't blame them. They have to move to where their profession is appreciated. Even the President doesn't believe in Nigeria herself. No wonder he travels out of the country to take care of his health.

If Nigeria is a person then he or she is a big fool, now tell me why won't they the doctors and other professionals travel abroad, you the politicians and elite travel abroad for as low as headache, leaving the doctors with no facilities and the poor masses with no access to medical care. Now those countries you travel to need more professional hands and our doctors are grabbing the opportunities then u turn around to complain, the poor masses left with no doctors, facilities or access has turned towards traditional herbs, spiritual and fetish medical care. Now the irony is that the same poor masses still screen Sai baba. so doom becomes inevictable for Nigeria, so many great writers have said this. Including me

If it meets his fancy to sow and let others reap,so be it. That's his choice and excuse for cheating Nigeria after the government invested in the training of his children. Some individuals and families are so indigent that it took the scholarships from this same nation they now cheat for them to become healthcare professionals today. Yet they are the first set of ungrateful healthcare professionals to jet out at graduation to work in glorified 'slave camps ' for second class citizens in foreign lands. That's why I asked why despite their long years overseas, none of them has been on Forbes list or among Nigerian HNIs? I will not be shocked if some of them are actually suffering overseas but too ashamed to speak up and ask for help.

In my family, it's an unwritten rule, even if you go overseas and study, you must return to Nigeria and serve. It's been the practice in my family in colonial times and even till date.

In all modesty, Service and great love for this land is in our genes, we are taught to love the land no matter what even as toddlers and that overseas is not home . It stuck and we keep reminding ourselves anytime outside the shores of Nigeria, to always return back to practice at home.
We have many healthcare professionals in the family but none stays and practice overseas beyond going overseas for brief spell and training after which they return home. If it's the value system of some families to cheat Nigeria, they will reap it.

There is no war brewing anywhere , its all 8n your imagination , so that when something bad happens you can have something to thank your useless god for leaving Nigeria. To move to where you are most appreciated..

You can sit down and type whatever you want..

The fact remains that..

If you don't put facilities in place..

To get the best out of your workers..

You are WASTING YOUR TIME..

I have a colleague..

A Consultant of over 20 years..

Worked all his life in Nigeria..

The man just gave up..

And the group is being asked to contribute..

To the welfare and training of the children he left behind..

IS THAT THE KIND OF DEDICATION YOU ARE SEEKING FROM DOCTORS?

After giving his all to this SH1TH0LE..

His Widow and children..

Cannot be guaranteed of a decent meal?

When he's gone?angry

The people that spoilt Nigeria, are the ones that take medical trips abroad.

The people that spoilt Nigeria are currently Abroad planning on how they will win the 2023 Presidential Elections.

The people that spoilt Nigeria, have all their kids in the best universities Abroad and have made these kids of theirs citizens of these countries.

The people that spoilt Nigeria and are spoiling Nigeria are the same people selling the Narrative that "Nigeria Go Better" yet they are embezzling money each day.

The people that spoilt Nigeria and are spoiling Nigeria are the same people making life harder for you each day and restricting you from travelling for a better life.

Look at prices of things in the market. Covid Palliatives that was given to us, they happily hide them all. They see people suffering and are happy.

Look at our schools, hospitals. All in a bad state. Some of our certificates are not even recognized in western countries. It's that bad.
You can't go abroad and say you want to get a job with your Nigerian B.Sc certificate in Plant Science. It won't work that way. You will still need to get their own or get a job that don't require certificate.

If this is not Witchcraft, then I don't know what is.

With all these, you still don't want to leave.

You will tell me if they tied your Placenta to Nigeria.

FreeStuffsNG:
It beats my imagination how the FG sits by with reckless abandon and allow trained hands it trained or substantially subsidised their training to immediately graduate and head overseas to work there leaving their parents behind for others to care and attend to.

I know few who come home only for funerals of their parents and it's sad listening to their accounts of how their parents die without reaping the benefits of having children who are healthcare professionals.

God bless Nigeria forever.
some of us have decided we would not be alive and let lesser men make decisions over our life. You my friend are a far lesser mind.
