Nigerian soldiers, those ones that are half soldiers half boko haram have successfully killed dozens of people after a trailer truck had brake failure, killing dozens of people in an army checkpoint in Ihiala.

The checkpoint was located at a sharp bend down the hill making it impossible for vehicles to stop on time.

The soldiers took to their heels immediately the accident occurred.

All police and army disappeared from checkpoints (there are dozens of them) in Ihiala immediately.

I was in that area when it happen, and 11 lives were not lost neither were there any police shootings... 4 lives were lost (which is still bad) but you're right on the cause of the accident been due to the illegal military checkpoints that caused the collision.
