Pat Utomi, a political economist and former presidential candidate, says the Labour Party (LP) will get at least 15 votes in every polling unit in the 2023 general election.

Utomi, who was a presidential aspirant under LP, had stepped down his ambition for Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra.

Speaking on Tuesday in an interview on Channels Television, Utomi said the party has a structure that would be able to deliver needed votes to win the 2023 presidential election.

When asked about coalition talks with other parties, Utomi said there are leaders from the ruling party who are ready to work with Obi.

“With the structure that we have, I’m guaranteeing that on election day, in every polling station in this country, there would be at least 15 people who are standing up for the third force, who are going to be supporting the Labour candidate,” he said.

“The Labour Party is working with other political parties, several political parties. We are talking about a college of leaders led by the Labour candidate, and these leaders will come from parties, whether it’s PRP, APC, SDP, so many of them.

“All of those are going to work together, I can assure you.”

Meanwhile, as of June 2021, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had created over 56,000 new polling units, bringing the country’s total at the time to 176,846 units.
With Utomi’s projection, the LP says it is currently sure of at least 2,652,690 votes across the country.

I'm totally disappointed in The Cables. I listened to this conversation between Pat Utomi and Seun Okinbaloye barely an hour ago on Channels tv. This is COMPLETELY a false report.

Pat Utomi never mentioned 15 votes. He said at least 15 people would be standing up to defend the party (i.e., against APC and PDP criminals and ballot snatchers), in response to Seun's question on structure.

There was no conversation about votes at the polling unit level.

Pls take a screen shot of this quote and come back to mock me after the election if I'm wrong.

"Peter Obi-tuary will NOT win a Single Local Govt not to talk of winning a single State"

All these loud mouth youths will come online to wail and cry that the election was rigged. Even though anyone with an ounce of common sense should know by now that Obi has a 2 Percent chance of winning the National election.

I am an Obident but labour party has to work harder. Aisha Yussuf asked a very serious question on Twitter...who is the LP's Spokesperson, we don't know. Who is their Youth leader, Women leader, who are their Governorship candidates in all 36 States, Senatoral candidates, House of Representatives candidates, National Secretary, Publicity Secretary..etc. Most people don't even know their ward office in their various states, it's just like they're running on auto pilot.

We have to know these people because they're the ones who would be on the ground on the day of election. The party hasn't even told us...I'm following them on Twitter and they don't even seem to know what they're doing.

I sent them a message on Twitter telling them to boldly write Labour Party on their ballot logo and remove the forward ever, that other parties like PDP APC APGA and SDP have their acronym written boldly on the ballot paper. Till date my message wasn't replied.

They have a lot of work to do, and it has to be done quickly. If not for the youths who are striving daily to ensure that Peter Obi and Labour Party keeps trending on Twitter they would have been forgotten by now cos the party in itself isn't doing anything at all. It's just like they don't even care.

Osun election is on Saturday, yet not even the LP chairman is there on ground to mobilize grassroot support for the party. They have to wake up o.

In my polling unit in Okemesi Ekiti, Ekiti west local government area of Ekiti state, LP will not get a single vote.

It’s even funny hearing Pat Utomi talking about political strategies. This is the same dude that has contested severally for governor and president without getting 1k votes. He’s now the one promising deluded Peter Obi 15 votes in all polling units. Clowns you all are.

What legacy does the APC have that some people are still planning on voting for that party

Why will you vote for a candidate that has a

questionable name,
Questionable certificate,
Questionable age
Questionable source of income

And cannot even tell us who his father is

In the whole of northern Nigeria, his best pick for a deputy is a terrorist sympathizer.

Except I don't know Yoruba people. But I can tell you comfortably that even YORUBA people will not vote for Tinubu

Vote TinubuShit

And Nigeria will be in deep shit.

I don't need to tell you who you should vote for but I will vote for Peter Obi 2023

Shalom!

In other words, LP is still learning to crawl. It will take another 4 years for LP to walk without being assisted.
