Your prosperity is NOT tied to tithes. Let’s separate prosperity from salvation. They are two completely different and unrelated things. Christ is the Route to salvation. Work is the route to prosperity. Five of the world’s largest tech firms have Indian CEOs including, Google, Microsoft, IBM, Twitter and Adobe. Why? It is not because of prayer or tithe (none of them are Christian). It is because of the Indian work ethic, which is built on hard and smart work. We all can learn a thing or two from them.

Tithe in the Bible is used to provide food (meat) in the temple for people who don't have food to eat, but in today's Christianity, pastors used tithe to buy new cars, private jet, houses and do vacation abroad. During lockdown when people were hungry, churches couldn't even assist their members with food items despite all the tithes they have been collecting. It is well.

I actually thought about this after church on Sunday, these Indians worship strange gods but they are very successful immigrants same applies to the Chinese then I see we blacks and started to wonder if this really works. Collectively Nigeria should be a very successful nation if tithes alone guarantees prosperity. You have to work hard and smart to make your money, whether you pay or not.
