They are indicted and charged out of emotions. But the prosecutors will have to prove that they committed a crime before they can be convicted. Will not happen. Charges will be dropped before it heads to trial.

Did you read of this black guy that was jogging and two men killed him. why was the neighbor convicted as an accessory to murder. When the only thing he did was blocked the guy from escaping with his car. There was recent break-in in their area and when he saw his neighbors pursuing someone, he thought they were after the theif he didn't want him to escape.
That excuse didn't hold up in court and he was sentenced to 12years.
