This is kinda awkward for me. My bf is Edo but I only known him to speak Yoruba embarassed lipsrsealed Like he does speak Edo with his family but so far most of the time its Yoruba so this language sounds strange to me all of the sudden.

Ora is an Owan dialect.Afenmai includes Owan and Etsako. Better to say he is Afenmai.

he is Afemai definitely. I only hear him speak his native dialect to his mother and father. His brother his speaks Pidgin and his elder sisters all he speaks in Yoruba and his youngest sister he speak pure english with her.

All his other friends he always speaks in Yoruba.

So whats up, what do you guys wants us to chew on, lets raise some matters and discuss it, so we can keep the tread going.

Many other tribes living in Lagos speaks yoruba fluently especially if you went to a public school in some neighborhoods in Lagos like Agege, Agbado, mushin, Alimosho etc, i speak, read and write yoruba fluently.

Cheers, wa bhi lu.
