DECEPTION
Have no resemblance to the green Chameleon
Possess no significance to the Leopard with spot
Yet,Man, the greater being act leaves little to be desired
Heralds a lot of questions and confrontations
Man,witty, tactical and cunningly dangerous
Plays with his card to his chest
The Chameleon's camouflage, it's adaptive feature
But Man's deception, his greatest weapon
A double-edged sword
His tongue, the downfall of his fellows
Frankness relegated to the bins
Man's treachery, his trump card
Tales portrays the tortoise deceptive
Man's treacherous nature,an encyclopedia written
A greater threat to his existence
Yea, rivalled only by the nuclears.


THE POLICEMAN
His rewards for combating crimes - gunfire
His bounty for refusing a bribe -conspiracy
His wages for enforcing law and order - violent rampage
His award for manning the road - susceptible to attack
And when his salary comes,as meagre as it is,
I wonder if it can cater for all the troubles
Of the policeman

Here comes another scenario
He is a saboteur
Aiding and abetting all syndicate of crimes
Patron to the thugs
Remote controlled by the hierarchies in government
His ascendancy to the Force hierarchy fast
His allowances and special package bountiful

Why then should we clamour for a world in tranquil?
Where evil is rebranded good; good frowned at
The Forces infiltrated, societal values extinct
Hope for a serene world,a lofty dream.


ADDICTION
A marauding beast
After it's sullen, aghast prey
A billowing tsunami, it engulfs the prey
Darkness descended, it's tentacles threatening
Clutching tentatively at the victim
"You can't do without me,"It screams, voice resounding
Left with nothing but a surge of passion,of desire
Veering through the victim,akin to the circulation of blood
He struggles with his conscience
He's subdued
"Do my biding,"Addiction screams
He looks on morose
Held bound in captivity
A slave to his master, his command,a must do.


UNITED IN HATRED
They closed their eyes
They turned a deaf ears
They hardened their heart
To the yearning of the faceless masses
The alarm signal clear,at crimson red
But these scoundrels parading as
Kingmakers and forefronters
Chooses to plunge headlong into trenches
Without even an afterthought or overview
Why proceed such colossal mission?
Why backing the dangerous horse?
Why sailing a floundering ship?
Because the true craftsman
Willing and resilient to rebuild and rewrite
The history of a fallen-once-upon-a-time nation
Is truncating their sabotage
And watchdoging their footsteps with no prints
As they seek to make mince meat of a gallant citizenry
And keep government under their arms
To the kingmakers and forefronters
A puppet is to be installed
The craftsman must be halted and sent to exile
Never to return to those corridors of power
Where the kingmakers determines the crowned
United in Hatred.


YOU NEED THE SAVIOUR
In the raging storm and blockading darts of life
Through the winding, crooked road of life
And all waves of uncertainty
You need your anchor to hold fast
Lest you stray in your wake
Enemies, mercenaries, sycophants, friends,all lurking around
You need to sail with the Master
Who knows and understands the very end
Casting all your troubles on him
In this world ruled by the Prince of Life,
You need the Saviour.
