There will be a time where government of this contraption won't be able to pay salaries anymore. The only way out is restructuring.

Nigeria media trying so hard to burn this country to the ground with their usual fake stories.

All these envelope collecting journalists have no iota of shame.

PDP paylords are working overtime with these yeye reporters to keep spreading falsehood.

That of police is fake too and it took our leaders more than 24 hours to claim it is fake grin grin angry angry

An internal circular is not a service wide circular so the generalization is fake. FG never issued any such circular. Heads of MDAS can issue any internal circular based on the MDAS peculiar situation. Picking up such isolated circular and giving it a service wide interpretation is fake and misleading. This shouldn’t be too difficult to understand now.

Time will tell if the circular is fake or genuine.

This government has made a mockery of white collar job in addition to the one private sector is currently doing.

The disclaimer itself was from an FB, are you saying the disclaimer itself isn't credible. Clear care of talking from both sides of the mouth. Hypocrite

I’ve been singing this to the high heavens but no one bothered to listen. Sadly some national dailies ran with the story without confirming. It’s obvious the circular relates to a particular MDA, FMC Keffi. Sad how they turned it to be for the whole FG workers.

Even People’s gazette that published the story knew quite well it was false but they need to mislead their audience just to push whatever agenda their paymasters want. It’s all bad politics and nothing else.

When I called the report fake on the other thread, some folks attacked me thinking I just want to defend the government. The entire report was very senseless and illogical. Even if government cannot pay workers salaries, they won’t admit it not to talk of issuing circular to advice workers not to spend their November salaries.

The circulars in contention are internal circulars at a FMC and NPF. The two agencies very likely have exhausted their personnel budget. We have about 1000 Federal MDAs but the report was based on an internal circular issued by the heads of just two agencies with shortfall in their personnel budget.

All federal workers will receive their December salaries without any delay except those in agencies that have exhausted their budget. This is not a big deal if you are conversant with how federal government operates and it has nothing to do with shortage of funds/revenue. It is just a budgetary problem in the affected agencies.

U are contradicting yourself bt it’s ok. Carry on.

I’m atleast happy u didn’t say the memos were fake. grin

A good federal auditor must have a very sound knowledge of how the federal public service operates. Without a good understanding of the entity to be audited, how do one even audit the entity?

An auditor that cannot different between a federal government circular issued for service wide implementation and an internal circular issued for information just within the MDA is a useless and incompetent auditor.

Salaries? Apc are yet to borrow money to pay salary.

I wonder whether you are okay. Are you working in finance ministry to know that. Under PDP government the financial minister was truthful about what was happening in the government but in APC, lies lies lies and cover up. They have borrowed more than 30 trillion naira. What did they spend all that amount for. You will be a fool to believe it was spent on infrastructures only.
