Did you know that every morning and evening the prophet (peace be upon him) prayed to Allah against anger, depression and other character defects.

No one needs this prayer more than Nigerians in the current environment and economy we find ourselves

So whether you are a muslim or not, rich or not, happy or not say this prayer with me:


اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّي أَعْوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الهَـمِّ وَ الْحُـزْنِ، والعًجْـزِ والكَسَلِ والبُخْـلِ والجُـبْنِ، وضَلْـعِ الـدَّيْنِ وغَلَبَـةِ الرِّجال

"O Allah, I seek refuge in you from grief and depression, from weakness and from laziness, from miserliness and from cowardice, from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men (i.e. others)"

Learn it by heart and repeat it often

Allahumma innee a’oozhubika minal hammi wal huzn, wal ‘ajzi wal kasal, wal bukhli wal jubn, wadhal ‘iddayni wa ghalabatir-rijaal
