Dear Followers of Christ.

One thing God hates among interpersonal relationships is extortion and abuse of office. God hates it passionately.
What is the purpose off using your superior position to take away what rightly belongs to the lessers? It is very wrong!
As we have said, God put in place hierarchy for a purpose. He gave everyone differing measures of different abilities. It is against God's ordinance to use your God-given position to unjustly suppress others. It totally contradicts to God's principles of love.
The above passage is speaking on relation to Assyria, but the message is for all.
If God were to use His supreme authority to suppress those beneath Him, I am sure no one will be able to resist. But He chose to love... Choose to love.

They are not abusing anything, they are doing the will of the overall ruler of the world who gave them those seats!

No matter how kindhearted you may be once you join politics you can't escape all these works of the flesh:

Now the works of the flesh are plainly seen, and they are sexual immorality, uncleanness, brazen conduct, idolatry, spiritism, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, dissensions, divisions, sects, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and things like these. I am forewarning you about these things, the same way I already warned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom. Galatians 5:19-21

If you choose to be different Satan the overall ruler {John 14:30; 2Corinthians 4:4} who wants his children to make life miserable for their fellowman will not allow you to stay on the seat, because he is the one appointing rulers over all the kingdoms of the earth! Luke 4:5-7

So don't think worldly politicians don't know what is right but they can't do it because the spirit directing the affairs of the earth presently is a wicked person! 1John 5:19

That's why Jesus refused to rule while Satan is still in charge! John 6:15
