Reports reaching Siggy reveals that there are a massive fire outbreak at Jalingo girls hostel, Taraba state university, leading to the death of a female student and several others injured.

An 100 level student of Tourism Enuseh Lawi from Donga Local Government of Taraba State lost her life when fire destroy some part of the female Hostel of the University.

Siggy gathered that when the fire started at the room of the victim, she was far asleep, it took the effort of the other females in the hostel to break in the room and bring herr out, she was later Confirm dead at the Federal Medical Centre Jalingo.

The fire which effect some part of the hostel damage properties and other valuables belonging to students.

A female student recounts the incident via her WhatsApp status. In her update, she claimed that the victim body was peeled off and can’t be recognized to tell who it was and that she was supposed to be going back home tomorrow to her parents as she was done with her exams.

It took the collective effort of the female students in the hostel and Security men at the University to bring the fire under control.
