Jubilation in Rivers State as First Ever ATM was Commissioned in Emohua LGA. The Emohua Local Government Authority has extended an invitation to stakeholders and natives of the area to attend the commissioning of the first ever ATM gallery to be sited in the LGA since its creation in 1991. The ceremony is slated for tomorrow, after which the ATMs will be open for public use. The ATM gallery is located in the council headquarters in Emohua. The council in a statement by the press secretary to the chairman, Bright Jossy Elendu, said the ATM gallery is expected to be commissioned for public use by the executive director of Titan Trust Bank Nigeria, Dr Adaeze Udensi, at a brief ceremony scheduled to hold at the ATM gallery in Emohua. Igboid: Allow them to be fooling themselves. Majority of the local governments in Nigeria that are not state capitals or close to state capitals don't have a bank, not to talk of ATM. |

Seyrexolad: Quite obvious you did your NYSC without knowing your environment. You had to go all the way to PH to withdraw your money when you can easily do that in Abua Central(The LGA Headquarter) or even in Ahoada. Maybe your bank is one of those banks that lacks presence eg heritage bank, keystone bank, Wema bank, Sterling bank etc. Because there is Firstbank and Access bank in Abua Central. |

I served in Rivers, the only ATM in the whole of ASALGA, DELGA and Emoha is one small UBA bank in Abonema. We usually spend 2k on transportation to withdraw our 19k allawee then at Choba. |

Some no electricity Others no pipe borne water Yet some no motorable roads And others no block structures Some no network and no bank ...and they all have Honourable members both in the state and federal level. Kinematics: You are lying. There are local governments that is not even anything near to the state capital but have all the banks in Nigeria there with nothing less 2 branches and over 5 ATM stands at different locations. |
