Polyibadan Warns Freshers On Late Registration And Its Consequences by Naijafighters: 4:55pm On Dec 16, 2021
The management of the Polytechnic, Ibadan, has warned the new students to complete their registrations in order to avoid unkind consequences, today, Thursday, 16th December, 2021.

Polyibadan disclosed this during its 2020/2021 Orientation Programme for Freshers which was held at the 1000 Capacity Hall of the institution.

The institution said that students possess zero record, once their registrations are being delayed.
"Once we delay your results, You have no record with us"

Polyibadan added that students begin to face downside, once their names fail to appear on the first scoresheet.
"Once your name is not in the first scoresheet to be unleashed by the institution, your problem has started".

The institution urged the new students to pay up their school fees and to see their admissions into the school as opportunities.
"We want to believed that you all had paid your school fees? If not, go and pay. You should see the admission given to you as an opportunity".

The Rector and Chairman of the event, Prof. Kazeem Adebiyi encouraged the new students that they can compete with external students from different institutions. He also declared the 2020/2021 Orientation Programme for Freshers opened.
"I was once a Polyte and also did orientation during our time. You all should have it in mind that you can compete with other students outside this institution. I want to congratulate you for being impending Polytes because you are yet to be matriculated. I hereby declare this 2020/2021 Orientation Programme for Freshers opened".

The Chairman, Examination Monitoring Committee, Dr. E.A. Adesiyan read rules guilding student's conduct during examination and sanctions to the new students and advised them not become victims.
"It is advisable for you all to follow these rules to avoid being victims of it. Once you are caught, you will be sanctioned accordingly".

The Director of Medical Services, Dr. Adeagbo implored the Freshers to do regular checkup, engage in regular exercises and avoid loneliness in order for them to stay healthy on campus.

"To stay healthy on campus, do regular checkup, engage in regular exercises, possess sanitizer, nosemarks and don't be lonely"

The Students Union Government President, Adedeji Adedamola AbdulAzeez welcomed the new students and promised that his administration will keep fighting for the rights of the entire students.

The freshers will still be looking fresh for now... Years from now, some will have fallen by the wayside.
