Shatu Garko is a top Nigerian model who just emerged the 44th winner of the Miss Nigeria 2021 beauty contest held on December 17, 2021, and it was no fluke, she has been on the path of success for some time now.

The crowned queen of Miss Nigeria 2021, Shatu Garko hails from Kano State, northwest Nigeria, and was born in the year 2003, exactly 18-year-old this year.

Shatu Garko is passionate about proving that religion and culture are not barriers to following one’s dreams and achieving whatever a person sets out to achieve.

She recently celebrated the rare feat of becoming the first hijab model to land a modeling job in Nigeria.

Before her victory at the top beauty pageant, Garko was working on her eponymous clothing brand.
