Nnamdi Kanu now a prisoner of conscience –IPOB The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra has said that its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is a prisoner of conscience. In a statement on Friday, IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, said the Federal Government of Nigeria continues to violate the fundamental rights of Kanu. Following the extraordinary rendition of Mazi nnamdi Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria without proper documentation for doing so and the long incarceration and detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in DSS custody, we the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) wish to state categorically to the people of the world that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is now declared Prisoner Of Conscience. In 2015 Nnamdi Kanu was first arrested and subjected to an egregious violation of his fundamental rights. Investigative: Yeah keep distracting Nigeria from advancing because it has to focus on the basics, which is being a united country. Nigeria won’t advance until all ethnic groups learn to live and work together to achieve common goals. Until then, Nigeria will continue to be distracted and continue to beg and fight for unity until it is achieved, then she can move on to more pressing issues. The Military is mandated by the constitution to defend the unity of Nigeria, a Military coup will happen a 100 times over in Nigeria before the talk of a referendum will even be considered.
