We used to take N20 Coaster biscuits + N10 cowbell milk. Mix two of them with a few quantity of sachet pure water , if N10 groundnut dey add. Sharp sharp this carried one as fast breakfast and enter lectures in the morning.

That's because sweet potatoes and not Irish Potatoes is not too stressful to produce and it is plentiful during harvest time pobably due to its shelf life.
So, as students, when you buy during harvest time, you will be overwhelmed with the quantity per price.
If the farmers don't sell it, it becomes their loss.

For the records... Broke students cannot afford Irish Potatoes except in some parts of the north where it is produced locally.
