Alarm was raised from the girls hostel around 1;45am. The fire started started as a result of fire sparks from an electric wire. It took a handful of boys to quench the fire, before the fire fighter came to intervene. Thank God no life was lost.

Afam4eva:I dey o....na my Unit the hostel even burn. Just across my room. Started few minutes past 1 and by the time it was over by 2;30 or so, three rooms were terribly burnt and a fourth was destroyed. The roof even caved in. We still dey try sleep the sleep wey the fire deny us |
