Still on padding. Until we start using technocrats and people with proven ability to lead for political positions, we will continue borrowing and budgeting for white elephant project

Did u just say technocrats? What has that got to do with making Nigeria better? Are there no technocrats in politics and govt in Nigeria? Is osinbajo or dapo abiodun not technocrats?

That's why i pity Tinubu putting all his energy on 2023, he is most likely going to inherit a battered economy, you can spend your way out of structurally defective Nigerian economy.

Why should NASS have a high budget compared to some govt agencies.

You see, Sir

The money going into governance is just too much. See 109 senators, house of reps etc. With all these, what have we or have they achieved? The only achievement I can tag to these unscrupulous men is when their boss (buhari) is about to borrow loans, it pleases or give them joy ratifying the requests.

A civil servant will spend 35years of meritorious work, a month salary of a senator has swallowed up all the 35years.

We are irremediably ruined

It makes sense. 2022 is the year before an election. So that's the last chance for them to loot the treasury.
